Bachelor of Physics from the Federal University of S\u00e3o Carlos (1983), obtained a master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the State University of Campinas (1986) and a doctorate from the same institution in 1989. Since 1990 he has been a professor at the Institute of Physics of the University. from Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo. He currently holds the position of Full Professor at the Department of Materials Physics and Mechanics. Works in Condensed Matter Experimental Physics and the following topics: magnetism, critical phenomena, superconductivity, nanostructured materials, general properties of transition metal oxides and strongly correlated electronic systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
