The scholarship lasts for 12 months and the submission of documents for registration must be done by 01\/20\/2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information is available in the announcement below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Theoretical study of multifunctional materials with antiviral potential application<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The multifunctional materials of nanostructured inorganic oxides based on\nAg cations are highly efficient against lethal viruses, microbes\/germs and\nother microorganisms. The need of modern society stimulates the development of\nnew materials with multiple applications and, specifically, with high antiviral\nactivity. For this purpose, a theoretical study of structural, optical,\nmorphological and photocatalytic properties of some inorganic oxides containing\nsilver will be carried out. In addition, the changes in the photocatalytic\nperformance will be analyzed when these materials are irradiated with electron\nbeam or femtosecond laser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nposition for this fellowship requires a PhD in Chemistry with good practical\nknowledge of the Density Functional Theory (DFT), proven experience in\ncomputational simulations with the CRYSTAL program.
