One post-doctoral position is available at the Center for the Development of Functional Materials (CDMF) headquartered at Chemistry Department of the Federal University of S\u00e3o Carlos (state of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil). CDMF is one of the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs) supported by the S\u00e3o Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selected candidate will work on the project “Electrodeposition of transition metal sulfides and phosphides on 3D electrodes for water splitting”, which aims to develop new materials using additive manufacturing technologies (3D printing) combined with the electrodeposition of sulphides and phosphides for their use in the production of H2<\/sub>. The materials will be tested with a view to developing a scale up system with good performance and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or related fields, completed at least 1 year at most 7 years, multidisciplinary scientific training, and experimental knowledge in the following areas: Corrosion and Electrochemistry and Materials for Energy. Also excellent practical and theoretical knowledge in electrocatalysis and materials characterization techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fellowship has a duration of 12 months, and workload of 40 h\/week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
