{"id":366,"date":"2022-07-06T13:53:03","date_gmt":"2022-07-06T13:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cdmf.org.br\/en\/?p=366"},"modified":"2022-07-06T13:54:46","modified_gmt":"2022-07-06T13:54:46","slug":"post-doctoral-fellowship-in-chemistry-of-materials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cdmf.org.br\/en\/2022\/07\/06\/post-doctoral-fellowship-in-chemistry-of-materials\/","title":{"rendered":"Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Chemistry of Materials"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A Post-Doctoral position is available at the Center for the Development of Functional Materials \u2013 CDFM, the selected researcher will work in the area of Materials Chemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will evaluate catalyst materials for the selective photocatalytic reduction of CO<sub>2<\/sub>&nbsp;to CH<sub>3<\/sub>OH, from semiconductor oxides already known to the research group. For this, materials with potential for photoreduction will be synthesized and analyzed for CO<sub>2<\/sub>&nbsp;reduction. The project will be carried out under the aegis of the Center for the Development of Functional Materials (CDFM), a Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center (RIDC) supported by the S\u00e3o Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the Federal University of S\u00e3o Carlos (UFSCar) in S\u00e3o Paulo state, Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates must have a PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or similar areas, with at least 1 (one) publication&nbsp;preferably as a first author proving&nbsp;previous experience with the subject of nanoparticle synthesis and application of photocatalytic materials, electrochemical characterization or gas chromatography. Recent PhDs with high production (two&nbsp;publications in high impact factor journals, IF &gt; 10) will be preferred. Candidates must demonstrate at least four months of international experience in an institution of recognized reputation outside their country of origin. Experiences during undergraduate or master&#8217;s degrees will not be considered for this requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates must send, by <strong>July 20th\/2022<\/strong>, the following documents to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:lmascarosal@gmail.com\"><strong>lmascarosal@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a. R\u00e9sum\u00e9&nbsp;(4 pages) with updated ORCID record;<br>b. Cover letter (2-3 pages) containing title and abstract of the doctoral thesis, most relevant published works, previous post-doctoral work, and explaining the fulfillment of the prerequisites;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications that do not meet all the requirements of the Call will be disregarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
